The Arizona Transplant Games includes a multi sport festival for people who have received lifesaving transplant surgery and living donors. It will include dashes, relay races, high jumps, long jumps and a Youth Olympiad obstacle course.
We are excited to announce the first annual 2019 Arizona Transplant Games!
The Games will be held at Seton Catholic Preparatory, located at 1150 N Dobson Rd in Chandler on Saturday December 7, 2019 at 1pm.
The Games will feature Track & Field competition events for any level of activity and open to beginners! Athletes that are 6 months post-transplant and cleared by their doctor, living donors and any child under 12. Transplanted children as well as non-transplanted children can register, so your children, sibling, grand-children and neighbor children can also participate. First, Second, Third medals will be awarded.
Other activities that day include a Donor Tribute, food trucks, crafts for kids, Booth Expo, Pickleball Demonstrations, Opening Ceremonies and warm with Fiesta Bowl’s Spirit!
Don’t worry if you feel you aren’t fit enough to compete. Registration includes FREE Training Sessions at Ability360 and Cardiac Rehab between now and 12/7.
This is a great opportunity for us all to work together towards our goal of education and public awareness of organ, eye and tissue donation and transplantation.
