This is an interactive workshop that will aid you in creating new ways to engage a wider range of people as staff, board members and patrons. During this session we will explore ways to engage with people in the community who are outside of your usual circles and how to bring them into you’re your organization. We will look at hiring practices from job postings, internships, staff training and managing expectations. We’ll also look at ways to create a board that is reflective of people in your community in a genuine manner that engages new members and enriches your organization.

But telling a story is more than a sequential delivery of events and outcomes. You need to connect with your potential supporters with authenticity while influencing them to become part of your team. Bobbi Still and Nancy Jones have learned the secrets of engaging today's volunteers, donors, and other supporters that will provide the sustainability you need to keep serving. You see, the framework of your story will transform the impact of your marketing. And the most engaging stories follow a format as old as the Roman and Greek myths.
